I'm a singer/songwriter, musician and producer. I'm the singer and keyboardist in the soulful rock band DanMingo, which features members from Culture Club, Massive Attack and Hawklords. We're rapidly heading for 130,000 plays (as opposed to 'hits') of our double album on www.isound.com/danmingo.

I love to collaborate and have written with people as diverse as Shanks (of Shanks & Bigfoot), soul singer Joseph Junior, Victoria Wilson James (Soul II Soul & The Shamen), house legend Robert Owens, Zeus B Held, Loretta Heywood (Bomb The Bass), Bianca Kinane, space-rockers Earth Lab and Spirits Burning & Lady Sovereign (check 'My Pocket Guru' in 'collaborations').

I'm also a damn good keyboard player if anyone needs one! I played on all four of my songs that Roger Daltrey covered over three albums. Three of them are now available on itunes: 'Bitter & Twisted', 'Martyrs & Madmen' and 'Treachery'. Then there's 'Shot Down In The Night' by Hawkwind and 'I Feel No Pain' by Daniel Pearce (Voices For Darfur. EMI - check his amazing version in 'Big ballads").

My new double solo album 'Demos For The Departed' is heading for 60,000 plays on www.isound.com/steve_swindells_gb
