Guy Chambers is one of the world’s foremost songwriters, producers and musicians, best known for his work with Robbie Williams (five albums all of which went to number one in the UK and sold a combined 37 million copies worldwide and spawned 19 hit singles)The partnership earned them three Brits and a Q magazine Classic Songwriter accolade to add to their three Ivor Novellos.
Since his work with Robbie, Guy has worked with a diverse range of international and contemporary artists – Kelis, Tina Turner, Kylie Minogue, Beverley Knight, Jamie Cullum, INXS, classical tenor Andrea Bocelli and many many more.
In 2005, he created The Isis Project with Parisian lyricist Keren Ann and singer Sophie Hunter and made a French language album as an 18th birthday present for his daughter.
He has also launched his Sleeper Music label – currently home to an exciting young rock band, Self Service.
In tandem with his label, Guy has also created two club nights – Sleeper Sounds at the Soho Revue Bar (“For showcasing new bands, my bands and other bands I like.”) and the Sleeper Show, at the 606 Club in Chelsea.
Guy is also a patron of the Unicorn Children’s Theatre, an external examiner for the University Of Westminster, a LIPA Companion, a member of the Society Of Distinguished Songwriters and regular guest presenter on BBC4’s Proms coverage.
